The Company
Our client is a provider of special purpose machinery to the FMCG industry, supplying major customers in the UK due to their reputation for producing a high-quality product. The business has been operating for over 45 years, with members of their team having been with the company for anywhere up to 20 years, and now turnover more than £3 million with plans to continue their growth trajectory over the next 5 years.
This organisation is thriving, having more than 200 live jobs going through the Workshop with further demand for future projects. The team are well-established and are therefore not only able to deliver on customer demand, but are looking to expand their headcount ready for further success.
As a result they are looking to recruit a Workshop Manager with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Workshop Manager will have full ownership and responsibility for the shop floor as the Directors give large amounts of autonomy to their leadership. This role will be responsible for maintaining a smooth process, minimising errors, reducing delays in production, and ensuring the team hit deadlines.
