Are you a Workshop Manager with experience working in the Manufacturing industry looking for an exciting new opportunity to join an industry leading company who offer the chance to develop and progress your career?

You will be managing and leading a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations, overseeing daily workshop activities and implementing quality control measures to ensure high standards in project outputs.

They are nationally recognised for the specialist work they do within the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, and Renewable Energy industries. This role would suit a Workshop / General Manager looking to join an award-winning manufacturing company that is rapidly expanding and looking for an experienced manager to come in and join the Sheffield Team.

The Role:
  1. Managing and leading a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff
  2. Oversee daily workshop activities
  3. Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and used efficiently
  4. Implementing quality control measures to ensure high standards
  5. Enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting risk assessments
  6. Streamlining processes to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance efficiency
  7. Provide training and mentorship to team members to build skills
The Person:
  1. Experience of leading a team in a similar industry
  2. Strong Mechanical / Engineering background
