Job Description

Opportunity: Workshop Fitter

Contract: Permanent

Location: Lisburn

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Due to a promotion in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our supportive and friendly team in Lisburn.

In this role you will be:

Servicing and maintaining diesel, LPG, and electrical materials handling equipment
Fault finding, completing planned preventative maintenance, and pre-delivery inspection of forklift trucks
Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and correctly stocked
Ensuring customer relationships are maintained and developed through high standards of service

What will help you to excel in this role:

Relevant technical qualification
Previous experience within a similar role
Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
The ability to work independently and under pressure
The ability to manage and prioritise workload
Understanding customer needs
