Job Overview:
We currently have a rewarding opportunity to join a growing and reputable BSI Accident Repair Group, based at their Dartford site, which is currently expanding due to increased business and workload.

The Job: Workshop Controller / Bodyshop Controller

1. Liaise with production staff to monitor the number of vehicles coming into the site for repair.
2. Oversee around 12 skilled repair technicians within the bodyshop, including Panel beaters, MET Technicians, and Paint sprayers.
3. Ensure all incoming work is planned while managing time and resources.
4. Assign technicians to tasks to maximize productivity and adhere to deadlines.
5. Plan workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready within agreed timescales.
6. Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
7. Optimize resource utilization within the area of responsibility as set out in targets.
8. Deliver customer service standards as outlined by company procedures and policies.
9. Monitor and control workshop output and efficiencies.
10. Provide verbal explanations of the repair procedure and process to the workshop and customers.

Job Experience Required:
Skills in applying and using knowledge in a supervisory position.
Knowledge and understanding of the provisions of E.P.A. and H&S. BSI PAS 101, Advance, preferred.
Experience in dealing with and resolving Health & Safety issues.
