Job Title: Workshop Co-Ordinator

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Salary: Depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

We are currently seeking a Workshop Co-ordinator to co-ordinate and perform Workshop requirements and administration activities supporting business processes, procedures, policies, and systems.

You will work with our workshop team to provide an effective and comprehensive co-ordination and administration service to ensure that all Workshop office related duties are completed accurately and within a timely manner. This will be a busy and challenging position providing great reward and job satisfaction.

This would ideally suit an individual who is dynamic and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. The candidate must have gained a minimum of 2 years' previous working experience within a co-ordination and administration role within a similar environment.

Main Duties:
  1. Raise and send purchase orders (PO)
  2. Procure and order parts as required
  3. Stock checks and management of stock
  4. Management of the WIP report ensuring all jobs are closed when completed
  5. Process and authorise invoices
  6. Updating certification
  7. Harness and tackle inspection
  8. Waste management
  9. Allocation of jobs to Fitters
  10. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers
  11. Action hire care requests
  12. General housekeeping
Essential Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 2 years' previous working experience within a co-ordination and administration role
  2. Good standard of verbal and written English
  3. Excellent communication and organisation skills
  4. Advanced IT skills and fully competent in using Microsoft Office
  5. Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
  6. Motivated and flexible with the ability to thrive under pressure
  7. Previous working experience within a crane, plant hire, or workshop environment would be an advantage

Working hours are 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, based at our Head Office in Avonmouth, Bristol. There will be a requirement to participate on the out of hours on call rota.
