Workplace Lead - Corporate/Manufacturing Site

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced Workplace Lead to oversee soft services and facilities operations at a large corporate/manufacturing site in Portsmouth. This role is key to ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-managed workplace, delivering high-quality services that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Facilities & Soft Services Management - Oversee cleaning, security, catering, and other soft FM services.
  2. Contractor & Scheduling Management - Plan and coordinate external contractors for maintenance and workplace services.
  3. Help Desk & Issue Resolution - Manage the facilities help desk, ensuring quick response times and effective problem-solving.
  4. Health & Safety Compliance - Ensure the site adheres to safety regulations and best practices.
  5. Workplace Efficiency - Monitor service performance, budgets, and identify improvements to enhance workplace operations.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Proven Facilities Management (FM) experience, with a focus on soft services.
  2. Strong contractor scheduling and help desk management skills.
  3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  4. A proactive, hands-on approach to workplace management.
  5. Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a corporate/manufacturing environment.
