Who are we?
We want to be the best place that any of our 6,600 colleagues have ever worked. We’re the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. We offer a range of products across our market-leading brands, Standard Life, SunLife, Phoenix Life and ReAssure. Around 1 in 5 people in the UK has a pension with us. The role-holder will lead in relation to supporting the activities of the Standard Life Master Trust Trustee Board (SLMTC) and Phoenix Group Independent Governance Committee (IGC). This will include activities such as attending the relevant board/committee meetings, owning and project managing the production of material required to support SLMTC and the IGC (the chairs annual report, TCFD Annual Report and IGC Benchmarking activity) and managing the relationships with the business representatives and external suppliers that support these governance bodies.
This role will report to the Workplace Governance and Policy Lead, will require task management of the Proposition Consultant within the team and occasional travel within the UK.
