Our client is a successful construction principal contractor who works nationally from their multiple offices across the country. They are looking to appoint a Working Site Foreman to manage a fast track project refurbishing a public house in Penkridge ST19 5AS. Their success has led to a sharp increase in turnover. The Company has the aim to continue with their growth over the coming financial years. They have developed an excellent reputation for themselves in market sectors including: Hotel, Retail, Leisure, and Public Houses. They are an entirely relationship-driven business and pride themselves on the fact that over 70% of their workload is negotiated with existing clients that they have built relationships with.
The Working Site Foreman Role
This role is suitable for an individual who is looking to work in a more dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be expected to execute the designated role to the agreed programme, in line with Health, Safety and Environmental standards expected by the client and company.
The position will be managing a site in Penkridge, ST19 5AS that will run for approximately 2 weeks. The project is the fast track refurbishment of an existing public house.
It is expected that the successful applicant will be capable of running the project on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of a visiting Contracts Manager. As the Working Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the delivery of the project with both refurbishment and extension elements from inception to completion.
Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have previously managed fast track refurbishment sites within the construction and refurbishment sectors in the leisure and hospitality sectors, which is beneficial.
As the Working Site Foreman, you will be required to be a self-motivated individual who is autonomous in your role, whilst being able to drive subcontractors.
It is essential that you hold SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, Asbestos Awareness, and First Aid certificates.
This is a hands-on working site foreman role where the successful candidate will be expected to work on the tools and be hands-on; a joinery background would be beneficial.
The project will commence on the 31st March 2025 and run for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Remuneration:
Dependent upon experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn up to £240 per day DOE.
