Working Cleaning Supervisor

At Universities by Sodexo, you will be an essential member of the team working as a Working Cleaning Supervisor in University of Greenwich - London. You will be responsible for the site's overall appearance on a daily basis, providing outstanding cleaning services in order to keep the surroundings safe and hygienic for everyone. What you’ll do:

• Supervise and lead a team in providing a responsive and high-quality domestic service to meet the needs of the contract to meet the SLA and KPI’s.
• Have a full working knowledge along with the standards required of the areas in the building which are covered by the Cleaning team, including the time frames in which the cleaning needs to be completed.
• Control and count stock, order (as/if required) and issue cleaning materials ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage.
• Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and Company regulations, wearing company uniform and PPE as specified, and ensuring Cleaning Operatives do the same. Report as necessary any uniform requests/PPE requirements to the Residence Manager.
• Assist with any special duties, some of which may occur outside normal hours.
• Respond positively to feedback by proactively reviewing processes, procedures, and practices to ensure that the needs and expectations of relevant stakeholders are met.
• Pay close attention to the details and complete the cleaning tasks on your scheduled list.
• Ensure the workplace's common areas, kitchens, and restrooms are spotless.
• Restock essentials and supplies such as hand gels and toilet paper.
• Be a champion of health and safety practices.

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.

Package Description

“A role where the little details make a big difference”

• £13.65 per hour.
• 40 hours per week.
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30) - please note some weekends may be required to work.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks, and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
