A Work Planner / Scheduler main duties and responsibilities:
Provide support and consistent links to the client base and other departments at all times.
Contact customers via email after all engineer attendances on the same day to ensure customer satisfaction with completed works.
Log, book, and close any department requests for engineer attendance.
Schedule and coordinate engineers accurately via the company CRM system to attend customer premises as required.
Ensure all return calls are dealt with quickly and efficiently, within a minimum of 48 hours.
Invoice all chargeable calls as required.
Ensure procedures are adhered to at all times.
Provide administrative support as required for all departments.
Attend internal and external meetings and training courses as required by the manager.
Ensure all customer requests are dealt with effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Answer incoming telephone calls in conjunction with other designated colleagues.
Ensure quotes are produced in a timely manner as required.
Ensure all quotations or pricing for customers are checked and approved by the manager before being sent out.
Perform any other relevant duties as defined by the manager.

Ability to work with initiative and confidence, with enthusiasm for customer service and sales-related work.
Experience in administrative work with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Organisational abilities.
A sharp eye for detail.
Ability to follow verbal or written instructions accurately.
Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills with the ability to deal with external customers, colleagues, and outside agencies at all levels.
Good numerical skills.
Good keyboard and computer skills, including familiarity with standard MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Driving license.
Experience in a sales environment.
