About The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the Eccles Pastoral team as a Work Experience & Employability Coordinator. As the coordinator at Eccles Sixth Form, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all work-based activities, including liaising with and being a key player in the relationship between the college and employer partners. As part of this role, you will be a dynamic individual and able to respond efficiently to any issues that may arise. You will be highly organised, coordinating the placement rotations for a large cohort of students and innovative in creating ambitious opportunities for our young people to experience their industry. You will plan and deliver relevant induction sessions in supporting students before and on placement. You will be eager to promote the college and create new employer partnerships for industry placements for T Levels and CDF, work related activities and study programme work experience placements. The role involves liaising with students, teachers and employers to secure work placements and ensure that up to date records of all placements are maintained. The post holder is required to visit the placements to ensure they meet Health & Safety, ESFA and where applicable, awarding body requirements. You will also lead on and coordinate the three reviews per placement for industry placements, between employers and students.
