In this role, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in PHP, CSS, and HTML in a creative way.
You'll work closely with our design and content teams to bring creative concepts to life. You’ll be working alongside and supported by world-class developers and you will be exposed to many systems outside of just WordPress including building machine learning models, building internal software solutions from scratch.

Total Access Health is building a new version of healthcare that matches the pace of modern lifestyles. We run 3 different brands:
- e-Pharmacy - an online pharmacy that fulfils NHS prescriptions
- e-Surgery - a direct-to-consumer private and affordable alternative to getting prescription medication without having to speak to a doctor
- Evaro - a business-to-business brand that helps 3rd party companies offer digital health services in a compliant and safe way.
Based in Norwich, we are purely an online service. Our company is future-focused and expanding rapidly. This role offers the chance for you to be part of a new and exciting wave of digital healthcare. You will be joining a small, dedicated, and motivated team and be given great opportunities to learn across a wide range of sectors within the company.
What will my Role be?
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Work alongside marketing and product to A/B test new ideas and improve the user experience
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern standards, such as Object-Oriented PHP
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Optimise WordPress websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in web development
- Implement and maintain website security measures

Requirements for the role:
- You must be within commutable distance to be considered for this role
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of experience in professional WordPress development
- Demonstrable proficiency in PHP, CSS, and HTML
- In-depth understanding of WordPress core, including themes and plugins development
- Experience with WordPress REST API, hooks, actions, and filters
- Familiarity with WordPress security best practices
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Bonus: Experience with Node, React, Next.js or other Javascript frameworks
