Wordpress Developer

We are working with an exciting client to help them find a WordPress Developer to join their Web Operations team.

They have an incredible growth story and are ready to go to the next level of their journey.
You will be working closely with their development team and external consultants to bring everything in-house and support the creation of multiple squads.

If you are a WordPress Developer with 5 years + experience who wants to take on meaningful challenges, tackle interesting problems, and take your career to the next level, this could be the perfect role for you!

Some of the projects they have in the pipeline include:

• Building custom Gutenberg components.
• Improving UX, security, and overall quality.
• Integrating APIs and external data services.
• Optimising Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementation.
• Supporting localisation and headless Front End development.
• Potentially contributing to mobile app projects.

From a tech perspective, they are looking for someone with:

• At least 5 years of WordPress development experience.
• Strong expertise in custom plugin development.
• A focus on UX, quality, and security.
• Proven experience working with APIs and external data services.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

From a personality perspective, you will need to be passionate about your work, eager to solve challenging problems, and capable of picking up new tasks and running with them.

The company is offering a salary of around £60,000 (with potential flexibility for the right candidate) and some fantastic benefits.

This is a hybrid role but must be based in Manchester. They only ask you to come into the office 1-2 days a week and only if there is something planned - not just for tasks you can do at home.
