Care Assistant – Evening Shifts

Location: Worcester & Malvern

Salary: £11.73 plus added mileage

Hours: 5pm - 10pm

No sponsorships available
Must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes

Our Care Assistants have the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives, either in the community or at home. This role varies from day-to-day helping the more vulnerable in our society, offering a sense of satisfaction that is difficult to match. Caremark Worcester have recently been awarded the “Best in the Midlands” at the Nationwide Awards.

Roles and Responsibilities

You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would travel to the customers' homes in Worcestershire and assist them with daily tasks, as agreed between the customers and Caremark, being a pair of helping hands with tasks that require it.

Your role would include helping customers with tasks such as:

  • Shopping & meal preparation
  • Prompting with medication
  • Support daily routines
  • Respite services
  • Socialising & leisure activities
  • Helping customers access the community

Required Education, Skills & Qualifications

We are happy to speak to you if you’re new to care and just starting out, or have been in the industry for years. You might be looking for full-time work or just a few hours to pass the time, either way, we would love to hear from you.
