Wintel & VDI engineer - SC / DV cleared

Required: Wintel & VDI engineer
Location: Full time onsite in Gloucester
Duration: 6 months +
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, including Active Directory.
2. Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of VDI solutions, such as VMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
3. Hands-on experience with VDI solutions such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
4. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
5. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and task automation.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
