Job Overview

Windows Server / Network Engineer Required for a global organisation based within its datacentre in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a server engineer / systems administrator to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly expanding datacentre. The successful server engineer will work on high-level secure projects building and configuring Windows Server 2016 and 2019, working on Active Directory and Exchange, and extending the current Cisco network and virtual environment utilizing VMware.

Responsibilities

1. Build and configure Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
2. Manage Active Directory and Exchange.
3. Extend the Cisco network and virtual environment.
4. Work on high-level secure projects.

Requirements

1. Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux based servers.
2. Understanding of networking protocols related to Cisco, including switches, routers, and security firewalls.
3. Exposure to Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, Cloudflare, Imperva, Akamai is beneficial.
4. A clean UK driving licence is essential due to some travel requirements.
