As our Wholesale Sales Manager you will be working directly into the CEO and Operations Director, to fully manage all aspects of our wholesale relationships.
We are a small team, so need someone who loves being hands on, thrives on variety and has a positive can-do attitude.
This role is for an experienced wholesale professional, with killer sales skills, who seeks to join a team that creates beautiful products with a positive impact all around - someone who shares our values and would like to be part of our close-knit team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a wholesale strategy to grow sales to new customers globally, in line with business goals.
- Researching and monitoring markets to identify new potential partners.
- Actively reaching out to new wholesale prospects, presenting our collections and onboarding new partners.
- Building positive relationships and maintaining excellent communication with buyers, to make sure our collections are properly represented and growing orders from existing clients.
- Processing wholesale sales orders, rising invoices and tracking payment.
- Analysing sell-throughs, promptly offering reorders, and keeping buyers informed of order progress.
- Working with production, operations and design to ensure wholesale delivery deadlines are met.
- Overseeing shipping and delivery logistics for B2B orders.
- Assisting the design team with product selection for order placement - taking into account customer profiles.
- Presenting management with feedback from buyers, agents and distributors in order to identify growth opportunities.
- Providing data and insights for the management team with regard to wholesale key trends.
- Working with the Comms Manager to develop monthly marketing emails for B2B clients, providing brand updates.
- Monitor wholesale partner websites to ensure correct imagery and information is being used.
- Financial and data modelling and reporting, ownership of the wholesale P&L.
Key skills required include:
- A Minimum of 2 years experience in a wholesale sales role in a luxury lifestyle brand.
- Grade A sales skills, a love of telling the brand story and closing a deal.
- Proven experience in converting prospects to confirmed orders.
- Ability to demonstrate examples of increasing account profitability, managing partnerships, onboarding key accounts, and executing successful contract negotiations.
- Excellent presentation skills with the confidence and ability to lead meetings with senior buyers.
- The ability to prioritise, multitask and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- High level attention to detail and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
- Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of financial competency.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Existing relationships with key wholesale accounts would be preferable.
