White Goods / Gas Field Service Engineer

Concept are currently seeking an experienced service engineer who is dual skilled on electrical and gas appliances and located around North Birmingham. In this key role, you'll ensure electrical domestic appliances are repaired and serviced in line with our high standards and health and safety regulations. As a representative of the company, you'll be responsible for offering a comprehensive and efficient service to our customers. Bags of initiative and a flexible, proactive approach are essential for this role. You must have experience diagnosing and repairing domestic appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, cooking, and laundry products.

You will be working in customers' homes within the Midlands area fault-finding and repairing a wide range of domestic appliances, completing approx. 7-10 calls per day depending on area size. Products will include dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, microwaves, hobs, cooker hoods, fridges, and freezers.

Required Attributes:

1. Thorough and up-to-date knowledge and qualifications.
2. Ability to use technology effectively.
3. Good communication and customer service skills.
4. Minimum 3 years previous experience working as a Field Service Technician.
5. Good diagnostics skills with evidence of fault finding and repair of domestic appliances.
6. Ideally, 2nd line refrigeration (R600) would also act as an advantage to your application, but training can be provided.
