Job Description

The Wellbeing and Support Hub provides a range of day activities for patients, families and carers which would not be possible without the support of our volunteers. We are looking for friendly volunteers who enjoy helping to deliver activities to support staff and volunteers within the Wellbeing and Support Hub. You will volunteer alongside an Activity Facilitator and provide a welcoming environment for visitors and patients. Activities you could be supporting patients to get involved in include gardening, movement workshops and creative activities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING.
• Provide a warm welcome and chat to patients and carers
• Make drinks and serve lunch when required
• Assist the Activity Facilitator in preparing and taking Activity Groups
• Encourage patients to join in with activities
• Keep the day room tidy
• Help with other related tasks when necessary
