The Role

Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Wellbeing Support Assistant to join the Schools on a permanent basis. The position is available from 18 August 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is term-time, full-time working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £24,614. The role is based across both the Ravelston and Queensferry Road sites.

The Wellbeing Support Assistant provides reactive and planned support to specific children or groups with pastoral needs across the Junior, Middle and Upper School, facilitating their wellbeing and integration into school activities.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people in a school setting.

Eligibility:

ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right work in the UK.
