Welding Inspector / Penetrant Technician / QC Technician

The ROLE
The successful Welding Inspector / Penetrant Technician / QC Technician will be required to perform the following duties:

1. Preparation and sign-off of project Final Inspection Release Certificates
2. Review Vendor manufacturing data
3. Review Inspection and Test Records
4. Carry out dimensional, visual, NDE, and other inspections
5. Provide QC support to all departments
6. Ensure that the Company QHSE Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible working environment
7. Review fabrication drawings and Weld Procedures

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a Welding Inspector with the following background:

1. Knowledge of structural steel and pipework fabrication
2. CSWIP 3.1
3. PCN level II
4. Knowledge of ASME
5. Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) and ISO 3834
6. European Welding Engineer (desirable)
7. Willingness to travel as required

Salary: £50,000 - £54,000

Location: South Lincolnshire, Rutland, North Cambridgeshire. This role is commutable from Peterborough, Stamford, Grantham, Corby, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Spalding, Bourne, Sleaford, Uppingham, Market Deeping, Wansford, Yaxley, and Oundle.
