Position: Welding Inspector

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £42,500 + Day Shifts Only (Mon-Fri) + Holiday + 5% Pension + Permanent Full Time Role + Company Benefits + Free Parking

Core Responsibilities:

1. Perform visual inspections (VT) and NDT of structural steel
2. NDT inspection
3. Utilising a variety of measuring equipment
4. Non-Conformance monitoring
5. Working closely with other members of the Quality team
6. Coordinate inspections and NDT with site project managers or the responsible person in charge
7. Prepare timely, detailed reports of the inspection and testing results

Requirements:

1. NDT Inspector/ Welding Inspector/ Quality Technician or similar backgrounds
2. Hold NDT qualifications (PCN Level 2 or 3)
3. CSWIP or PCN accredited
4. Experience of NDT inspection and comfortable using machines and other measuring equipment to adhere to the industry standards
5. Must have CSWIP 3.1 at a minimum, and PCN Level 2 MPI would be advantageous but not essential
