Welding Inspector

First Achieve's Engineering Division are working with a specialist in structural steelwork and fabrication, who as a result of recent growth, are seeking a Welding Inspector at their site in Aberdeen.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Inspectors looking for progression in an organisation working across many industries including the Oil & Gas, Food & Drink and Construction.

1. Conduct visual inspections of welded joints and structures to ensure compliance with welding specifications, codes, and standards.
2. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation.
3. Prepare detailed reports outlining inspection findings, deviations from standards, and recommendations for corrective actions.
4. Assist with NDT Activities.
5. Promote a culture of safety and adherence to safety protocols in all welding activities.
6. Identify potential safety hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.

1. Qualified to CSWIP 3.0 Minimum
2. Time Served Welder/Fabricator
3. Familiarity with Structural Materials
