Job Title:6 x Welders Mate

Location:Birmingham

Duration: 12 Months

PAYE Rate:

  • 1st 40 Hours M-F - £18.74 per hour + £2.26 Hol Pay

  • Over 40 Hours M-F & Sat - £23.21 per hour + £2.80 hol pay

Job Description:

Integrate Resources Group is looking for a Welders Mate to assist in the fabrication, burning and assisting welders of large-scale structures in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to work on a prestigious industrial project, supporting skilled welders in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting welders with the preparation and setup of materials.

  • Handling and positioning steel components for welding.

  • Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces.

  • Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.

  • Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Welders Mate or similar role.

  • Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.

  • Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).

  • Must have experience using Burning Equipment

  • CSCS card

  • Good awareness of health & safety practices.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
