Job Description
Welder / Fabricator required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator with experience with TIG welding on stainless steel sheet material.
- Carrying out TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel sheet materials between 1 - 3mm.
- Working in line with production schedules and deadlines.
- Setting up and operating fabrication equipment.
- Implementing continuous improvements within the manufacturing department.
- Reading, creating and interpreting welding drawings.
- Maintaining the factory and onsite equipment.
- Complying with the health and safety policies.
- Previous experience with TIG & MIG welding on stainless steel sheet materials.
- Based in a commutable distance of Basingstoke, Hampshire.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience with fabrication machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and rollers.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
- Working hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday. Friday 08:00 - 15:00. 37.5 hour working week.
- 30 days holiday, including bank holidays. Increasing with tenure.
