Job description

Welder/Fabricator Field Foreman

Pay: $30-40/hr.

Shift: Day schedule, depends on the job site; leave from the shop daily

Description:

  • Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Welder/Fabricator Field Foreman for a growing structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation company.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the miscellaneous metals field
  • 2+ years of experience in a field leadership role
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding
  • Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment that will be used on the job, including but not limited to saws, plasma tables, ironworker, hand tools, and power tools
  • Willingness to travel locally within 2 hours of the shop in York, PA; ability to commute to the shop daily
  • Ability to read and fabricate from shop drawings and/or blueprints
  • Ability to pass a welding test (MIG and Stick) and fabrication test
  • Valid driver's license

Travel Requirements: This position requires 75% or more travel; most local within two hours of York, PA, and some occasional overnight travel if needed.

Background Check: This position requires a successful drug screening and background check before starting.
