This role involves fabricating and welding structural and secondary steel, primarily using MIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 City and Guilds qualification in Fabrication/Welding and previous site experience. Experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication is essential.
TIG experience is preferable but not essential.

About the Role:

Are you a welder fabricator looking for a new opportunity? Are you skilled in structural and secondary steel fabrication?

We are currently seeking a time-served Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established client of ours based in Washington. The role will be on-site and workshop based and requires previous experience in structural and secondary steel fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication and welding of structural and secondary steel
Competent in MIG welding using mild steel
TIG experience is preferable but not essential
Working on-sites in the North East

Requirements:

Level 3 City and Guilds in Fabrication/Welding (or equivalent)
Previous site experience is essential
Physically fit to work

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm
Friday 8am to pm
Overtime adhoc and paid at time and half
