Qualifications

Job description
The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their team in Sherburn in Elmet.
The successful candidate will be experienced in Fabrication / MIG Welding, working with medium and light materials, and be able to use various hand tools. You must also be able to work with engineering drawings, be self-motivated, and be able to work on your own initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work unsupervised
- Work to a high standard
- Ability to weld to a good standard
- Ability to fabricate large framework accurately
- Ability to fabricate large panels
- Ability to cut and measure accurately
- Overhead crane experience would be an advantage
- A team worker with good punctuality and attendance
- High level of housekeeping and attitude towards continuous improvement
Hours:
Mon to Thurs 7.15am-4.30pm
Friday is 7.15am-12.15pm
