Welder /Fabricator

Our client is a well-established metalwork and engineering company based near Barnoldswick, seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. With a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and reliability, they specialize in a wide range of architectural metalwork projects, from staircases and shop fittings to bespoke engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding and fabrication using MIG and TIG welding techniques
2. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
3. Working on various metalwork projects, from conception to completion
4. Occasional travel to project sites nationwide

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in welding and fabrication
2. Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
5. Willingness to travel for project work

What We Offer:

1. Competitive pay rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
2. 4-day work week: Monday to Thursday, 6:45 AM to 5 PM
3. Overtime opportunities on Fridays and Saturdays at a premium rate of 1.5x
