Job Description

Welder/Fabricator

Due to continued growth a position has become available for an experienced welder to join a growing busy manufacturing/Engineering company based near Oakham.

Responsibilities:

Mig welding
Set-up and layout jobs using engineering drawings, diagrams, and fixtures.
Carrying out welding operations in accordance with appropriate welding procedure specification.
Use of grinders/sanders and general hand tools
Requirement to do other fabrication work and associated tasks as required.

Person Specification:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings
Able to use various hand tools whilst adhering to H&S procedures
Attention to detail
Good team player with ability to communicate well with others
Organised and able to prioritise workload to ensure products can be dispatched on time
