Precision Welder / Fabricator
Join our client's dynamic team as a Precision Welder / Fabricator, where your expertise will directly contribute to the production of high-quality welded and fabricated components. Specializing in materials like stainless steel and aluminium, you’ll be integral to delivering precise, reliable products. This role involves close collaboration with our production and engineering teams, ensuring that we meet strict specifications and uphold industry-leading standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform precise TIG and MIG welding on various metals.
  2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to accurately fabricate components.
  3. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely project completion.
  4. Work with different materials and components, including plate, laser-cut, and machined parts (1-30+ mm thick).
  5. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure adherence to both industry and company standards.
  6. Follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Time-served Welder/Fabricator, skilled in MIG or TIG welding, with at least an NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, working with stainless steel and aluminium.
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings with high accuracy.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring work is of the highest quality.
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong communication skills to foster collaboration across production teams.

  1. Competitive Pay: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour, based on experience.
  2. Mon – Thur 7am to 16.00pm, Friday 7.am to 12.30 noon.
  3. Overtime: Paid at 1.5x your hourly rate.
