Your Day to day duties in the role
You will be involved in mig and tig welding and fabrication of components.

Experience/Skills and Education Requirements

  1. Welding Carbon Steel from 6mm up to 150mm
  2. Heavy plate Mig welding experience is critical, some of our machined joints take up to 60 weld passes over a distance of 3m
  3. Tig welding experience beneficial
  4. Working to strict WPS under close supervision
  5. Coded to BS EN 9606
  6. Using overhead crane
  7. All work produced is to be capable of passing UT, MPI and visual inspection
  8. Grinding, Gouging, and Polishing
  9. Knowledge of pre-heating methods
  10. Will display knowledge of preparing root welds with ceramic backing
  11. Will be required to undertake and pass a security background check
  12. Any other ad hoc duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post

Hours of work
The role is on days.
The work is on a permanent basis.
4 days per week. Monday to Thursday.

Salary and Benefits
Rate is £17.30.
Excellent company benefits package.
