Welder / Fabricator

My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of refuelling solutions and systems for a range of industries including Marine, Aviation and Defence. They are now looking to hire an experienced Welder to join their established team in Stroud. The ideal candidate will come from a Welding and Fabrication background, will be highly proficient with TIG Welding, will be able to interpret Engineering drawings and will be highly familiar with ASME IX standards.

Welder / Fabricator Job Overview

• Producing finished Weld runs on pre-fabricated assemblies
• Carrying out specialist welding on Stainless Steel / Aluminium structures, pipework and components
• Welding fabricated box and tubular structures in-line with BS9606 - 1&2
• General MIG welding on MS structures
• General fabrication and fettling work

Welder / Fabricator Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a Welder / Fabricator position
• Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
• Familiar with welding to ASME IX Standards
• Experienced in TIG Welding
• Able to Weld with and without JIG and fixture arrangements
• Based within a commutable distance of Stroud

Welder / Fabricator Salary & Benefits

• Hourly rate 15.00 - 16.50 per hour
• Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:00
• 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
