Job description

NES Fircroft is currently seeking 2 x skilled Welder / Fabricators to join a global engineering company based in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire.

This is a permanent opportunity for an individual who can weld but also fabricate to a very high standard. Our client is ideally looking for individuals that have experience within O&G / subsea, carrying out work on medium>large structures.

It would also be very advantageous if you have been involved in new fabrication works, i.e. raw materials to finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabrication of frames, structures, and subsea equipment
  • Ensuring high-quality production in a safe manner
  • Utilizing a good working knowledge of fabrication shop machinery and processes
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings

Experience:

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication
  • Ability to produce high-quality products
  • Conscientious and safety-focused
  • Preferably have previous coding in MIG & TIG processes, but not essential as training can be given
