Welder Fabricator

A well-established architectural and steel manufacturer in Bishops Stortford is looking for a new experienced welder to join their team!

This company is expanding due to continued growth within the business. This role focuses on architectural and structural steel manufacture, so experience in the manufacture of staircases, balustrades, railings, balconies, and structural steelwork is essential.

They are offering a salary of between £14.00 to £15.50 per hour, depending on experience. The working hours are 07:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

Skills Required:

1. Must be able to work from detailed Auto CAD drawings.
2. Must have previous experience using machinery such as guillotine, brake press, band saw, and pillar drills.
3. Previous experience in a structural and architectural welding role.
4. Welding qualifications would be an advantage.
5. Health and Safety certification for Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheel training, or any other health and safety certification would be an advantage.

This company offers 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. If successful, you will also be enrolled in the company pension scheme.
