Job description

Are you an experienced MIG & TIG welder looking for ongoing work in Kirkby?

We are looking for a number of Welders for a family engineering business with an expanding order book.

Offering temp-to-perm possibilities for the right candidate.

The Welder Role

  1. As a Welder you will be welding steel in a variety of thicknesses from 1mm up to 12mm.
  2. MIG & TIG welding.
  3. Ability to maintain a high standard of work.
  4. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and follow them accurately.
  5. Flexible enough to learn new skills.
  6. Committed to safety, quality, and productivity.
  7. Will need to have a high level of accuracy regarding paperwork.
  8. Flexible enough to perform other tasks when required.
  9. Adhere to health and safety rules and promote a safe working environment.
  10. Be able to work well within a team.
  11. A good attitude to timekeeping and attendance is essential.
  12. Working sociable hours Monday-Friday.
  13. Previous experience working within a similar environment and qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in Welding and Fabrication are beneficial but not essential.

Welder Benefits:

  2. Monday-Friday 6am-3pm with early finish on a Friday.
