Job Description

Position: Experienced Welder

Location: Based in Leicester LE3 (Commutable from Leicester, Hinckley, Earl Shilton, Enderby and surrounding areas)

Pay: Up to £16.50 per hour

Company Overview: Our client is a growing company that specializes in sheet metal and is looking for an experienced MIG welder to join their team.

Hours of Work:

1. Monday – Thursday: 8am - 5pm
2. Friday: 8am - 4pm
3. Overtime available where applicable

Role: Experienced JIG Welder/Fabricator

Responsibilities:

1. Fabrication of mild steel ranging from 1mm to 5mm
2. Work from engineering drawings provided
3. Demonstrate welding, fabricating, cutting, drilling, cleaning, and polishing
4. Meet given deadlines
5. Abide by health and safety rules and maintain cleanliness of work area
6. Effectively communicate with line manager and staff

The Candidate:

1. Good experience in welding and fabrication of mild steel
2. Previous experience in JIG Welding
3. Previous experience in pulse welding
4. MIG Welding experience
