Welder

Due to continued growth, a skilled Welder is required on a permanent basis, located in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with a methodical approach to work; therefore, recent experience in full TIG-welding is essential, and experience with 300 series stainless steel is beneficial.

Due to the location of this opportunity, it is essential you have your own form of reliable transport.

Key Duties:

1. Experience with various welding equipment
2. Understanding of technical documents and drawings
3. Manual skills and a steady hand
4. Knowledge of basic safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
5. Cutting, joining, and shaping metal and other materials using heat and tools
6. Reading and understanding assembly instructions, ensuring materials are available, and taking precise measurements
7. Performing tasks such as fitting, setting, installing, cutting, and welding
8. Back purged TIG welding
9. Accurate use of section rolls and plate rolls
10. Ability to use electrical or manual tools
11. Turn table welding
12. Orbital welding

Required Skills:

1. Proven experience as a Welder and Fabricator
2. Technical training or certification in welding and fabrication
3. Proficient in MIG, TIG
4. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
5. Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
6. Deftness and attention to details
7. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
8. Comfortable with performing examples of their ability during the interview process
