An established industry player is seeking skilled Welders to join their team in Kilmarnock. This permanent position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for an early finish every week. As a Welder, you will engage in a mixture of coded semi-automatic and MIG welding, working from detailed project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess previous welding experience and relevant qualifications, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude. Connect Appointments have new permanent opportunities available for Welders to join our established client in Kilmarnock!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (with an early finish every Friday)
Salary: £41,730 per annum
The successful Welder will be responsible for:
- Studying and working from drawings/project specifications
- Calculating dimensions of parts to be welded
- A mixture of coded semi-automatic welding and MIG welding
- Using the appropriate tools for the preparation of welding
The ideal Welder will have:
- Previous welding experience, possessing the relevant qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The availability to start immediately
