MIG Welder / Fabricator - all levels considered
14.79 to 17.79 per hour / 25,360 - 36,083 basic + overtime (60k+ achievable)
39 hours per week (Plenty of optional, paid overtime available - some are working 120 hours extra a month at 1.33 = 60k+ OTE)
06:30 - 15:30 (Mon to Thurs) and 06:30 - 11:30 (Fridays) or 07:30 - 16:30 (Mon to Thurs) and 07:30 - 12:30 (Fridays)

We are working in partnership with a market-leading manufacturing company in the Maidstone area who are looking for a MIG Welder to join their busy, close-knit fabrication department. The successful Welder will have experience with mild steel welding, and there is also stainless-steel welding available. The majority of the senior management team within the fabrication team of 35/36 have been promoted from the tools and lead by example and experience. Responsibilities:

• Reading engineering drawings and specifications and planning layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Pre-heating and cleaning metals, laying out, cutting, and fitting materials for welding.
• Carrying out flat, vertical, and horizontal welding, coating non-ferrous metals, inspecting brush and grind welds.
• Developing templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
