* MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Chester Le Street area.

The Job You'll Do:

* Mostly using MIG welding although experience with other welding systems is beneficial.

* Using weld and engineering drawings to work from.

* Mostly working with mild steel although experience with other materials could be beneficial.

* Average material thickness 2 - 3mm but can go up to 10 - 12mm.

* Be able to work on own initiative.

About You:

* NVQ level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification required.

* Need to be competent with MIG welding.

* Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Understanding of engineering drawings.
