Job description

Role:
There’s nothing like a fun day out, and Welcome Volunteers help welcome all our visitors to our sites.
The role includes:

1. Providing a warm, friendly, informative welcome to help visitors make the most of their visit and helping them find their way around the site.
2. Making visitors feel welcome, answering any questions and encouraging them to get involved.
3. Checking tickets and scanning membership cards.
4. Assisting in loaning out Mobility Scooters to visitors.
5. Helping to tidy things away after an event or activity or just at the end of a busy day.
6. Ensuring things run as smoothly and safely as possible – this includes getting to know health and safety and evacuation procedures.
7. Occasionally participating in other activities of interest that we could use your help with.

This is just a selection of what is involved; you don’t have to do all of them!

Time commitment:
Volunteering hours vary depending on the role and our opening times. We aim to be as flexible as possible and can discuss more with those interested in the role.
