As a Weekend Team Leader, you will lead the Cleansing team at the park over the weekend (including Fridays & Mondays), ensuring the provision of an effective and high-specification service delivery in the Royal Park. This role requires supporting the management team in delivering a busy schedule of cleansing and logistical park operations throughout the site.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients directly and potentially attend meetings with the client to discuss & review contract performance.
- Ensure that the team operates in line with all HR and Health & Safety guidelines, including carrying out Health & Safety briefings, return to works, and inductions.
- Oversee a team of operatives with varying skill levels.
- Support the Supervisor to deliver agreed improvements in development, seasonal work plans, and contract activities.
- Play a hands-on role in supporting the team by undertaking various cleansing and grounds maintenance duties around the park.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in a Team Leader/Senior position within an industry that manages waste.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- A good degree of IT Literacy.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to enforce them on-site.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
