Job Title: Weekend Class 2 HGV Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Weekend Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently over weekends, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to transport goods to and from various locations on weekends.
2. Ensure Load Security: Safely load, secure, and unload goods to prevent damage and ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Conduct Vehicle Checks: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
4. Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
5. Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, handling queries and issues effectively.
6. Adhere to Regulations: Comply with traffic laws, driver hours, and tachograph regulations.
7. Flexibility: Be available to work varying weekend shifts as required.

Requirements:

1. Class 2 HGV License: Hold a valid Class 2 HGV driving license.
2. Driver CPC: Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
3. Digital Tachograph Card: Hold a valid digital tachograph card.
4. Good Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Physical Fitness: Be physically fit to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate good problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations.
