The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Website and Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing our digital plan and platforms to showcase our innovation excellence and impact. The role will involve day-to-day management of our website, Dynamics 365 marketing applications and other digital platforms (internal and external). You will have skills managing website development projects, social media management, digital analysis and CRM platforms. Particularly desirable is the ability to balance digital development skills with operational delivery skills working alongside multiple teams and external partners. The post holder report to the Head of Marketing and Communications and work with a team of dynamic MarComms professionals in Oxford.
The key responsibilities of the role include: - Management of OUI’s main website and sub-sites, social media and OUI’s use of third party and partner platforms.
- Work closely to consult with and engage OUI’s marketing and communications team, OUI’s wider business units and external stakeholders to develop and maintain and update our digital platform for marketing and communications purposes.
- Coordinate and develop digital tools and approaches to enhance our digital presence. This includes measuring our performance and providing insights to bring to life OUI’s key messages, services, people and stories. You will also support colleagues to utilise our digital platforms for marketing purposes.
- Manage activities within budget and using an organised project management approach to collaborate with colleagues internally and externally to deliver key projects and campaigns on time.
About YouYou will need to have excellent people skills and be a team player with a proven track record and experience managing digital platforms and projects. A degree in marketing, digital technology or equivalent is required and a demonstrated passion for communicating science and innovation.
You will also need to demonstrate you have the skills to work well with knowledgeable and motivated people to achieve goals as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to work autonomously and manage diverse projects and stakeholders effectively with team members and other departments across OUI. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has the ability to act with kindness, diplomacy, integrity and good judgement.
The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate proven ability in:
- Experience managing digital platforms and how they might support marketing a business like OUI.
- Strong technical and data driven ability with a broad understanding of software and systems to build our SEO, UX journey and platform optimisation. This should include working knowledge and experience of: WordPress, Dynamics 365 or similar.
- Experience using CRM software and be proficient at working within and developing relevant marketing dashboards and reports to answer specific marketing questions. You will be comfortable using Google Analytics and reporting tools to gather insights and report recommendations to share with colleagues and to help update and develop marketing strategies.
- Experience working with content and design partners to developing brilliant user experiences.
- Extensive experience collaborating closely across marketing teams, organisations and with partners to deliver best in class digital platforms.

The salary for this role is commensurate with experience and will range
