Job Title: Water Treatment Business Development Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £35k - £100k OTE + Training & Benefits

An exciting opportunity to join a leading Water Treatment outfit has arisen. The company is seeking a motivated Water Treatment Business Development Manager in the Midlands region. The ideal applicant will have strong experience within the industry and must be able to efficiently manage new and existing client interactions in order to grow company revenue streams. Experience / Qualifications:

  1. You must have a successful record pursuing and winning new business contracts within a Water Treatment outfit.
  2. Will have strong technical knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines.
  3. Ideally, applicants will have hands-on experience with domestic and process water systems, including: Closed Systems, Cooling Towers and Steam Boilers.
  4. Excellent written ability and IT skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills.
  6. Enthusiastic and proactive approach.

The Role:
  1. Actively searching for new business leads in order to grow the company's portfolio.
  2. Preparing bids and tenders as well as presenting directly to clients, with a view to win new business.
  3. Upselling new services to existing clients.
  4. Working closely with members of management and operations, to ensure projects run as promised to clients.
  5. Identifying gaps within the business and executing plans to rectify and improve.
  6. Producing quotations for works.
  7. Completing regular documents and performance reports for internal use.
  8. Maintaining and building relationships with clients.
  9. Asking clients for feedback in order to improve service and assess company performance.
  10. Managing own workload to ensure work is prioritised correctly and efficiently.
  11. Meeting with clients on site.
