Based at our Portlethen site you will be part of the Warehouse & Yard team delivering high level service to both internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment.

The role of Warehouse and Yard Associate is to ensure a safe and reliable operational environment. In this role, the Warehouse and Yard Associate will execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse activities.

As a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you will be responsible for:

1. Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
2. Stocking received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
3. Picking materials, components and end products and Warehouse & Yard Associate delivers them to Production or shipping.
4. Performing cycle counts.
5. Preparing component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

1. Have the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
2. Have proven Yard Operator experience in the O&G industry.
3. Possess basic written communication skills.
4. Have the ability to apply concepts of basic math with basic PC skills.
5. Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
6. Be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.
7. Hold a full UK driver licence.
8. Have experience in using SAP or similar inventory management system.
