Minster is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, on the hunt for an Operations Manager (Warehouse/Transport) who's as passionate about great service as we are.
Hours – 7.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 4 Warehouse Operatives and 5 Drivers
- Ensuring all team members are prepared and ready for their day
- Running the transport operations for the branch - load planning and delivery routes
- Supporting the Branch Manager with operations: driver and warehouse staff health and safety compliance
- Directly supporting the warehouse team with preparing and loading/unloading orders when necessary (forklift training provided)
- Providing an excellent level of service for all customers
- Checking incoming deliveries and reporting missing or damaged products
- Maintaining stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts and producing reports on stock management for the branch
- Keeping the branch looking clean and tidy and making Health & Safety a priority
- Working with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous industry experience is beneficial
- Experience within warehouse and transport management
- Confident in a hands-on, sometimes physical role
- Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
