Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Warehouse Technician to join a leading provider of specialised technical solutions for a 6 month period. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, with responsibilities including the preparation and organisation of equipment for deployment to various sites, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting logistical efficiency. This position will require working a variation of shifts (Early, Core and late) with the early shift starting at 7am and the late shift finishing at 7pm/8pm.

This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and an interest in technical operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines and contributing to high standards in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborating with the resources team to prepare and organise equipment for deployment.
  2. Managing daily equipment preparation processes to ensure efficiency.
  3. Assisting with stock management, goods-in procedures, and inventory control.
  4. Loading technical equipment onto vehicles for transport.
  5. Supporting warehouse operations while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills and Attributes
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  2. A team-oriented mindset with a “can do” attitude.
  3. Ability to multitask and show initiative.
  4. Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
  5. A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  1. Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
  2. Familiarity with technical equipment (beneficial but not required).
  3. Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

37.5 Hours per week. Hourly rate DOE.
