We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor (Days) to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in logistics warehouse operations, ensuring safe and efficient processes, overseeing the unloading and storage of goods for import/export and delivery, and confidently stepping in to deputise for the Warehouse Manager when needed. A valid Counterbalance FLT certificate is essential.

Position:

What You'll Be Doing...

1. Supervising daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, scanning, and storage of goods.
2. Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
3. Acting as the go-to person in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
4. Supporting the coordination of training, shift briefings, and operational updates.
5. Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
6. Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and facilities.
7. Liaising effectively with other departments including Imports, Exports, and ETSF teams.
8. Managing accurate inbound/outbound stock handling using warehouse systems.
9. Ensuring high standards of housekeeping and organisation across the warehouse and yard.

Requirements:
Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:

• Demonstrate experience within an operational warehouse environment/a logistics company would be beneficial.
• A valid Counterbalance FLT certificate is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Recognised pass rate for GCSE in Maths and English.
• Team player and a clear and confident communicator.
• Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
• Highly organised with ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• General understanding of customer accounts, Pallet in/out etc.
